Connected, not isolated
Every document read in light of the others: the guaranty a loan agreement relies on, the amendment that changes a defined term.
About Notessa
Notessa is the intelligence platform purpose-built for complex commercial real estate and capital markets transactions. The platform organizes and structures the underlying knowledge embedded across deal documents, enabling teams to understand the transaction, not simply process the documents.
Our story
Commercial real estate and capital markets transactions run on documents: loan agreements, guaranties, amendments, leases, side letters. Each one points to the others, and a deal only makes sense when they are read together.
We know this from the inside. Notessa was built by practitioners who have spent their careers executing, underwriting, structuring, and managing these transactions. We saw how much time went into reconciling one document against another, and how easily a changed definition or a buried cross-reference could slip through.
General-purpose AI and document-processing tools did not close that gap. They read each file on its own, and they were not built around how commercial real estate deals are actually structured.
So we built Notessa: an intelligence platform purpose-built for commercial real estate and capital markets, designed to understand the transaction, not simply process the documents.
Our vision
Every commercial real estate transaction, understood as one connected whole.
01
Every document read in light of the others: the guaranty a loan agreement relies on, the amendment that changes a defined term.
02
Proprietary algorithms designed around the structures, obligations, and economics of commercial real estate and capital markets deals.
03
Answers link back to the clause they came from, so teams can check the reasoning against the documents themselves.
04
Less time reconciling documents, more time on the decisions a transaction depends on.
Leadership

Chief Executive Officer
Jin has spent nearly two decades navigating complex deals, financial crises, and the fine print that can make or break a multibillion-dollar transaction. Today, he leads Notessa’s strategy, vision, and growth. A Yale Law graduate, Jin has seen two major market downturns up close: the 2008 financial crisis, when he led Goldman Sachs’ Special Assets Group in working through roughly $15 billion in legacy commercial real estate assets, and the post-COVID downturn, when rising rates, vacancies, and refinancing pressures put borrowers and lenders to the test. Through it all, he saw the same problem: one overlooked provision in a dense legal document could change everything. He knew there had to be a better way to find the details that matter. So he built Notessa.
At Goldman Sachs, Jin spent 10 years in senior roles spanning commercial real estate lending, special assets, and structured finance. He later held senior investment leadership roles at Talmage, LLC, before founding BridgeRock Capital in 2018, where he focused on complex loan restructurings and workouts.
Before finance, Jin practiced law at O’Melveny & Myers. That experience gave him a rare perspective on complex deals, shaped by both the legal language on the page and the financial realities behind it.
Jin learned that successful workouts take more than financial models. They require legal judgment, capital markets expertise, an understanding of real estate, and the ability to see how today’s decisions will play out years down the road.
Notessa was born out of that firsthand experience. BridgeRock used the platform on its own deals and workouts before it became commercially available. Now, Jin is bringing everything he has learned across law, banking, and investing to a new challenge: building AI-powered technology that helps legal and financial professionals find critical provisions, connect the dots, and spot risks before they become costly surprises.

Chief Technology Officer
Joey leads Notessa’s technology strategy, product, and engineering, bringing more than two decades of experience building complex systems. He believes technology should be measured not by how impressive it looks in a demo, but by how well it performs when real transactions are on the line.
At BridgeRock Capital, he architected the firm’s proprietary investment and asset management platform, covering everything from risk analysis to transaction execution. He joined as Director of IT in 2019 and became CTO in 2022. He also spent years in senior technology roles at PSI International and Grant Supplies.

Chief Legal Officer
Artem is the serious one, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. He leads Notessa’s legal function and is also Executive Director and General Counsel of BridgeRock Capital, a commercial real estate investment firm.
He was previously Senior Legal Counsel at Repsol and held senior legal roles at EY. He has also seen how courts read the fine print, as a former Judicial Fellow with the New York State Supreme Court and Judicial Extern to the Hon. Denny Chin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Head of Growth
Amy can go from Sunday’s game to Monday’s market open to the next big growth opportunity without missing a beat. She’s curious by nature and rarely satisfied with the obvious answer, and her favorite question is simple: How do we make this better?
Amy has worked with most of the Am Law 100 and 200 firms through major technology shifts, from the early days of eDiscovery to most recently driving user adoption for a cloud-based legal technology provider.
As Head of Growth at Notessa, she leads go-to-market strategy, commercial expansion, and client outreach. She brings equal parts creativity, drive, and instinct, and knows that sometimes the best play starts with listening.
With a career spanning eDiscovery, high-end real estate, and legal tech, Amy speaks fluent lawyer, lender, and investor and knows which tools each of them actually opens.

Yuqing is Notessa’s founding product designer, which means she was turning 300-page loan agreements into clickable cross-references and defined terms, before anyone thought to ask. At Notessa, she led user research with legal and CRE professionals, uncovering the real pain points in their day-to-day work and turning complex scenarios into simple, intuitive design solutions.
She specializes in B2B products across AI tools, fintech, and advertising platforms, designing clear, scalable products from end to end.
